Every church, ministry and faith-based nonprofit may use the entire Free Church ChMS platform at no cost — for good. This grant is irrevocable. We'll even give you the source code to run on your own hosting, and help you set it up, free. Just ask. We say yes to every church.

Our mission: free forever, so children may be fed ✝

Around the world, churches are charged large sums every year for the software they use to shepherd their people — money that could instead feed hungry children, clothe the poor, and carry the Gospel further. It is our founder's God-given conviction that no church should ever pay for this. Free Church ChMS is, and always will be, free to use, free to self-host, and free to share — forever.

Our prayer is that every dollar once spent on church software would instead be poured out for a child in need — and that the companies who profit by charging churches would be moved to feed children too.

Where every gift should go

Free Church ChMS will never ask you for money. If the Lord moves you to give in thanksgiving for this gift, we ask with our whole heart that all charitable donations go to the Good Samaritan ministry — caring for children and those in need.

What you may — and may not — do

The license is generous to churches and firm with competitors, so it stays free for the people it's meant to serve.

Churches & ministries may

  • Use the whole platform, free, forever — no tiers, no per-seat fees.
  • Self-host it on your own web hosting and own all your data.
  • Get the source code and free setup help — just ask.
  • Configure, theme and connect it to your own tools and keys.
  • Keep using it in perpetuity — the free grant can't be revoked.

No one may

  • Sell it, or use the code to build a competing product.
  • Remove or alter the Boreon™ marks, notices or watermark.
  • Reverse-engineer it for a competitor or strip its protections.
  • White-label, sublicense or pass it off as their own.
  • Harvest data from it, or use it to train competing AI.

So that it can remain free for churches, the work is fully owned and defended under international law.

Protected under US copyright & the Lanham Act, the Berne Convention, TRIPS, and the laws of every Berne/TRIPS member state — including Swiss URG.

Reproduction by any company is pursued under our international license. Governing law: State of Georgia, USA, with worldwide enforcement.

Your data is yours

Self-hosted on your own infrastructure. We never monetize, sell, or AI-train on your congregation's data — ever.
